Situated in the High street of the historic Old Town, Hastings in premises dating back 400 years; the High Street Retro Centre is a long-established mecca for fans of Twentieth Century design.

Featuring the best furniture, lighting, art, glass, pottery and textiles from the foremost designers of the mid to late Twentieth Century, the stock is fast changing, and we strive to continually bring you the very best from all areas of design. On our ground floor you can see great chrome and glass furniture such as OMK, Pieff and Merrow Associates, Italian plastics from companies such as Magistretti and Castelli, alongside lighting by the likes of Guzzini, Flos and Verner Panton.

Our upper floor features leading Scandinavian and British furniture makers, with furniture in rosewood, teak and native woods like beech and elm, from such companies as Ercol, MK, McIntosh, Robert Heritage, Robin Day, Bramin, Troeds, G Plan and many others; we also feature textiles from the 50s - 70s by leading designers such as Barbara Brown and Marian Mahler.
